The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
